Elder Michael W. Williams was born in Nashville.
He is married to Linda J. Williams and together they have three children and five grandchildren. Elder Williams is currently a return student at American Baptist College in Nashville, TN. Elder Williams retired from the United States Air Force after successfully serving 24 years.
While serving his country he was privileged to teach and preach in many parts of the U.S and abroad
. He later returned back to Nashville, TN to care for his mother the late Mother Annie M. Williams of the Hamilton's Tabanacle United Primitive Baptist Church. Elder Williams has been exposed to various views of religion.
He was born in to the Original Church of God family formaly know as 14th & Phillip. After returning to Nashville he served as an associated minister at the God at the Greater Saint John Missionary Baptist Church, in Nashville TN. At Greater St. John, Elder Williams was privileged served as Superintendent of Sunday School and Lead Adult Sunday School Teacher. God placed a call to serve on Elder Williams' life. In 2010 he was called to serve as Pastor of the Saint Eli United Primitive Baptist Church where he presently serves.
Pastor Williams believes that "A church must be willing to let God's word rule over any, not all -- but any unproductive tradition and get in a hurry following and persuing the word of our Lord found in Matthew 8:19 as it guide."
Finally his vision is to watch ministries sprout out this church and people's lives renewed by the hand of God.
